Welcome to the third year of the ATW Odyssey Aquabike event!
Brought to you by the largest multi sports organiser in the UK!
Taking place on Saturday 5th July 2025 with an exciting new distance added in to the mix.
The ATW Odyssey is more than just a full and middle distance Aquabike. It is a journey of self-discovery through Swim and Bike taking place in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
The Odyssey Full Aquabike is an epic challenge to complete a 3.8km swim in the meandering river Ouse followed by a 180km cycle around the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside. Along the way you will overcome both physical and psychological challenges that you have never previously experienced and once completed, you will stand tall in the knowledge that you have completed your own personal Odyssey.
You can now take on the brand new Odyssey half distance aquabike event. A 1.9km swim, followed by a 90km cycle. There is no better place to take on this challenge than the stunning scenic town of St Neots.
The Odyssey course is the ultimate in spectator-athlete experiences with multiple opportunities to cheer on the athletes on each of the disciplines, including a central point on the bike course where there will be entertainment and hospitality available for supporters.
When you have finished you can join the after-party in the ‘Tent of Enlightenment’ to cheer on the triathletes as they complete their final discipline.
This event is open to everyone, regardless of ability and there will be plenty of activities at the venue to keep the whole family entertained while you race.
There is an overall cut off time for the Odyssey Full Aquabike of 10hrs, and the Odyssey Half Aquabike of 8hrs.
This race has a draft illegal bike leg.
This event runs alongside the Odyssey Triathlon.
Race packs can be collected at the event venue the day before or on the morning of the race. Bikes can only be racked on the morning of the event, 90 minutes before the race start. Final Registration, Transition opening and Start times will be advised in the final details that will be emailed the week before the event.
It's obviously a long day for competitors but it's also a long day for your supporters! ATW wants everyone to enjoy their Odyssey experience whether they are competing or supporting.
To keep young families entertained throughout the day there will be free kids activities provided throughout the day at the HQ at Regatta Meadow.
Food, drink, music and seating will also be available in the 'Tent of Enlightenment' which is the cheer station the runners will pass through on each lap of the run.
Finishers will receive an Odyssey medal, t-shirt & goodies.
