ATW invites you to the inaugural Stevenage Winter Half Marathon and 10k.

Starting and finishing on the fantastic Ridlins Stadium athletics track, the route winds its way around the superb traffic-free tarmac routes that cover the town of Stevenage. 

The 10k route includes a small lap round the beautiful Fairlands Valley Park, while the second lap of the Half-marathon takes in a longer lap of the park to complete the 21.1k route.

Taking place in early December, it's a perfect time for a final half marathon of the year, before the festive season kicks in!

This race will be operating a 3hour 30 cut off time, after which there will not be marshals and course signage available.

This event is more than just a run. You’ll be warmed up with personal trainers, welcomed home by a professional commentator and your cheer-squad will be kept fed and watered by quality caterers while you run.

You will be welcomed to the vibrant event village by live music. You can take up the opportunity for a pre race massage. Tackle the route with a pacer (different times available) Cross that finish line & pick up your medal, then catch your breath with a soothing drink and a bite to eat.

Our headline charity for this event is the East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity-magic of play.

The half-marathon will start at 09:30am. A FREE 400m Children’s Fun Run will also take place on the running track 30 mins before the half-marathon start (no need to book, just turn up to registration). Parents are welcome to run with their kids and use it as a warm-up for the main event!

We are delighted to announce that our headline charity for the ATW Steventage half & 10K is East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity-Magic of play.  Kind donations will help provide the best care for local children by funding sensory equipment, games consoles, TV’s as well as activities and toys to entertain and reduce anxiety for those needing treatment at the hospital. The hospital are also fundraising to make improvements to the garden so children and families can enjoy play outdoors and promote wellbeing.
