Whether you are an experienced athlete looking to compete for a British Championship medal, to get a fast race, or are a novice competitor looking for a safe and friendly venue, Grafham Water is ideal. We guarantee you’ll enjoy this fantastic venue that has been used for award-winning events, national championships and GB qualifier races.

Standard Duathlon - run 10km, cycle 38km, run 5km
Sprint Duathlon - run 5km, cycle 17km, run 2.5km

The run is a 5k lap course using the natural footpaths of Grafham water that head out and back across the iconic dam wall before looping past the finish area where you’ll receive great support (the second run of the Sprint event will turn near the start of the dam making a 2.5km lap). The bike is an out and back ride to St Neots with minimal turns allowing for lightening-quick riding. The Sprint distance will turn back in the village of Perry.
The event is draft-illegal, and there will be British Triathlon Motor Officials on the course to ensure that the racing is fair and safe.

If you are looking to be eligible for the British Standard Distance Duathlon Championships, Athletes MUST be current members of Triathlon England, Welsh Triathlon or Triathlon Scotland. Information on the British Championships can be found here.
