We are excited to announce that the Hertfordshire & Middlesex Triathlon will be moving to the stunning Rickmansworth Aquadrome in 2025.

Rickmansworth Aquadrome is a scenic public park and nature reserve spread over 100 acres, known for its tranquil lakes, lush green spaces and diverse wildlife. 

The triathlon gives you the unique opportunity to swim in a Hertfordshire lake that is normally closed to the public, cycle a surprisingly rural route through the county of Middlesex, before enjoying a run around the picturesque trails of this stunning nature reserve.

This is a mass-start non-draft legal event with starts from 7:00am with three distances to choose from:
- SuperSprint - 400m Swim - 12km Bike - 2.5km Run
- Sprint - 750m Swim - 25km Bike - 5km Run
- Standard - 1500m Swim - 42km Bike - 10km Run

If you dont want to tackle all three disciplines yourself, there is also a relay option and an Aquabike (Swim-Bike) on offer over the Standard distance.

This event is for athletes of all abilities and ages.

Transgender athletes are, and will continue to be, very welcome at recreational and competitive activity in Triathlon. At any competitive event from 1st January 2023, there will be a Female category open to athletes who are the female sex at birth and an Open category open to all other athletes.
