Incorporating the 2024 British Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships and 2025  European Championship Qualifier.

** NOTE: To qualify for the British Championships, you must have already entered the event by the end of Wednesday 14th August **    

This traffic-free race circuit with its own self-enclosed swim lake is the perfect venue for athletes to tackle a draft-legal Triathlon. The venue has been host to many rounds of the elite Super Series and GB Elite selection races. Now its the turn of the age-group athletes to tackle this superb racing venue.

The single-lap swim takes place in the lake that fills the interior of the racetrack. After completing the swim, you will head to your bike in the hard-standing transition area.

Mounting your bike, you’ll head off on laps of the 2.8km bike leg that uses the smooth racetrack of the famous Mallory Park circuit.  This great racetrack will inspire you with confidence and enable you to post a great bike split round the course that has been been designed to include technical sections testing your all-round bike skills.
(Note that the Sprint race is 'draft-legal' and you cannot use a time-trial bike, disc wheels, flat-bar bike, or have aero-bars. For full information on draft-legal bike restrictions, look at page16 of the British Triathlon rules, and the image at the bottom of this page)
 
The race finishes with laps of the flat 1.25km run lap out-and-back along the back straight.

The Mallory park triathlon will start from 8am and have age-group waves starting throughout the day. You will be advised of your start wave in the final race details, two weeks before the event. 

New to Triathlon? Dont worry, we will also have a non-drafting SuperSprint Triathlon, ideal for those new to the sport, or wanting something a bit shorter.

Camping is available at the venue, so why not stay and enjoy the on-site bar in the evening?

Final wave groupings and start times will be confirmed in the Final Race Info that will be available 1 week prior to the event.

To be eligible to win the British Championship, athletes membership must be valid no later than by 5pm, 3 working days prior to the championships (i.e. 5pm Tuesday before the Saturday event.)

If you are looking to qualify for the 2025 European Championship Sprint Triathlon, athletes must register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Wednesday 14th August. Please click here to register your intent to qualify and for more information. No late registrations will count.
