No matter if you are an experienced triathlete looking to qualify for the World Championships, or you are a novice competitor looking for a safe and friendly venue for your first open water triathlon, then the ATW St Neots' triathlon is ideal.
Note that the course is different from the usual StNeots Triathlon course to accomodate the increased numbers expected on the course. Check out the course maps on the menu above.
The one-lap 1500m swim takes place in the beautiful River Ouse, followed by a super-fast out and back 40k bike course that takes you along some of the most scenic roads in the area. Aquabikers will finish on their return to transition, whilst the triathletes will complete their race with a 2-lap 10k run around Riverside Park.
The venue has very easy access to the local town of St Neots, that is a two minute walk away with plenty of accommodation, cafe and restaurants. St Neots is situated less than a mile away from the A1, making travel to the event easy.
This is a non-draft legal race with an option of a Standard distance Aquabike (1500m swim, 40km bike) starting from 8:00am or a Standard distance triathlon (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run) starting from 8:30am. There is also the chance to team up with friends for a standard distance relay, with one person completing each discipline.
If you are looking to qualify for the 2024 Standard Triathlon World Championships, athletes must register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race. Please click here to register your intent to qualify.
