Dorney Lake Events provides you with an opportunity to race like an elite around this unique and inspiring Olympic venue, in a draft-legal Sprint Triathlon, with the additional opportunity to qualify to represent Great Britain in the Age Group Sprint Triathlon World  Championships in 2026.

The crystal clear lake and flat, scenic grounds lend themselves to a safe course for fast, draft-legal racing. 

This 'draft-legal' Sprint Distance event will take place from 12:00, after the 'non-drafting' Triathlon in the morning has finished.

Please note that the race will follow British Triathlon 'draft-legal' rules and all bikes must comply with 'draft-legal' guidelines (eg drop-handlebars, no tribars, and UCI compliant wheels). For more guidance please access the British Triathlon website.

The races will follow a 750m swim - 19km bike - 5km run format.

Races will take place in age-group waves throughout the afternoon. Wave start times will be advised closer the time depending on numbers entered in each age-group.

This event is for athletes of all abilities and ages from age 15+

Transgender athletes are, and will continue to be, very welcome at recreational and competitive activity in Triathlon. At any competitive event from 1st January 2023, there will be a Female category open to athletes who are the female sex at birth and an Open category open to all other athletes.

If you are looking to qualify for the 2026 World Championship Sprint Triathlon, athletes must be paid-up members of British Triathlon and register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race.
