The Bishop's Stortford Mitre 10k and 5k is a road race event open to all to enter - experienced or novice, young and old, from the local area or further afield. We encourage runners who wish to raise money for their own charities - please let us know who you are running for so our charismatic pavilion commentator can give you a shout out...

The Mitre Fund is a registered charity that raises money on behalf of The Bishop's Stortford High School. The funds raised this year will go directly towards our New School Community Sports Facilities.

This wonderful community fundraising event is run on traffic-free roads through beautiful East Hertfordshire villages. The professionally measured 10 and 5k routes take you from Jobbers Wood sports ground and pavilion, on a circuit through the country lanes to Much Hadham and back again. The courses contain just enough undulation to make it interesting..! Here are some comments from last year's participants...

Our 1K Mitre Race will take place at Jobbers Wood straight after the 10/5k races. FREE to enter on the day for Under 11's.. Medals for all participants and Certificates for the winners. 

Race Packs will be available for collection on Saturday 5th July between 9am and 12 noon at Jobbers Wood, or from 8am at the event. Please arrive in plenty of time to collect your number on the day if you haven't done so already - great freshly brewed coffee, soft drinks and pre-run snacks will be available from early.
