The swim is based out of the competition pool in Woking. Operated by Freedom leisure, this 6 lane competition pool provides the perfect environment for our event complete with a viewing gallery for spectators/supporters. Your race day will see you start in the pool and completing a snake style swim. For those swimming longer than 300m you will swim your first 150m in lane 1 then snake to the end of the pool.
Upon sign up, all entrants will be asked for the time they will take in the swim. This will be used to seed the start order.
On exiting transition you’ll mount your bike and head out of the leisure centre. The open-road course will see you head out of Woking towards Mayford where you will complete laps (1 for SuperSprint, 2 for Sprint) of our circuit between Mayford and Jacobs Well. Other then a few cheeky inclines the course is flat and fast. On completion of your laps, you'll head right at the junction and return to transition.
The run is based in Woking Park and features a fast course within the park. The course used is 80% tarmac and 20% trail along hard packed good paths. As a lapped course, you’ll pass through the central part of the park several times presenting a great opportunity for support from friends, family and club matters.

What is the Junior Race Series (JRS): The TESE JRS is for TS1, TS2, TS3 and Youth triathletes. It provides a road map to events offering a range of venues: pool, lake, sea, closed road circuit, grass, so delivering a range of valuable experiences for our young triathletes. The JRS provides a season goal, a way to measure progress and is a great way to meet and have fun competition with like-minded young triathletes. There are 9 series events across the region in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Points are scored at each event with the best 6 scores out of the 9 events being added up to find our Junior Race Series winners in each age group.
How does my child get involved: To be included in the series your child needs to be a member of Triathlon England (TE) with South East as the home region on the membership card. Members that include their membership number on entry, will automatically have their results included in the series. Your child can join TE here: Join Us – British Triathlon Find out more here: TESE Junior Race Series.
